Spring Home Tour + Free Printable
Happy Spring! I am so beyond excited it is finally spring! This is by far my favorite time of year. Some people like Halloween, some love Christmas, but Easter has always been my favorite holiday. I love it for the cute decor, the nice weather, the pretty dresses, and the candy (can’t lie). But, I love it most of all for the Easter story and proclaiming “He Is Risen!”
When a group of fellow bloggers wanted to do a little SPRING Home Tour and Design Party, I was all in! If you are visiting from one of their blogs, welcome! I’m so happy you are here.
Because spring is my favorite and because I just purchased a new lens for my camera, you are in for lots of photos today. I hope you can find something inspiring to use in your home decor. I have not one, not two, not three, but four table tops to share with you today! Let’s get going!
Like most homes, our house a “drop spot”, that one spot where everyone seems to drop everything. I usually have to go back and clean this off several times a week as items seem to accumulate. You may notice if you’ve been around here for a little while, I have updated the space with a new mirror and light fixture. I found both at my local thrift and gave them a little redo.
I found this sweet little picture holder over Christmas and new I could do lots of different things with it. I inserted seed packets as my “pictures” and created a sweet little printable to put in the center. If you would like your own printable I have that for you at the bottom of this post.
It’s a sweet little greeting when entering through the front door. I couldn’t help myself when I saw all the beautiful tulips. There are tulips everywhere and I couldn’t be happier about it.
I set our regular dinner table in a special way last weekend for breakfast. Why do pancakes taste better when sitting at a cute table?
Everyone loves this bunny the best. I have several bunnies I have collected over the years. When Hayden, my 14 year old, was a baby I had his room decorated in Peter Rabbit so many of these little bunnies are from his nursery and it always brings a smile to my face to pull them out each year.
I visited an estate sale a few weeks ago and picked up bags of vintage needlework. These vintage placemats and napkins are so sweet and add such a charm to the table don’t you think?
I pulled out my grandmothers silver for this special breakfast. I always love seeing it on my table. It was my grandma Jose’s silver…she was half French and was always doing some type of crafting. I get that from her.
I did a little dry brush technique to an old Southern Living tray I had. I used Annie Sloan Duck Egg paint to give it this look.
I love giving this little blue tray a makeover every season. It becomes the focal point of the living room and sets the stage for everything. I couldn’t resist these incredible pink tulips and I knew they would be stunning in the blue and white planter I picked up at the thrift store a few weeks back.
I love the little pair of bunnies in this vignette. I love their little paws. So cute.
Each season I line this little tray with a different paper to go with the season. It is so fast and easy to do and really changes the look of it. Plus, I always have extra wrapping paper on hand now which has really come in handy with multiple birthday parties on weekends!
I’m not gonna lie, I saw these little flowers and I laughed out loud, in Wal-Mart, at their cuteness. I think if an Easter egg could be a flower, it would look like this. How could I not walk out with them? I decided to put one in each of these vases I bought at Walgreen’s on the Christmas clearance. I swear, I find cute blue and white stuff in the oddest places.
Aren’t they incredible? I hope they continue to carry them because when these are done for I will be sad.
This was such a quick and easy thing to do to bring some spring to the house. Simply buy a bouquet of the same flower and fill a bunch of vases with one stem each. If you don’t have a collection of vases, you can always go to the Dollar Spot and pick up five for this same effect.
I had so much fun putting this together and photographing it. Thanks for stopping by for the spring home tour! If you would, be sure to Pin it so others can find some inspiration and this little blog will grow. Have a happy Easter my friends!
